Prime suspect in Maddie McCann case ‘boasted of creeping into room full of sleeping teen girls and performing a sex act’

The prime suspect in the Madeleine McCann kidnapping and murder case reportedly once boasted to friends that he crept into a room filled with sleeping teen girls and masturbated, The Sun reports.

Christian Brueckner, 43, who has a horrifying rap sheet of sex crimes, pedophilic acts, drug trafficking and thievery stretching back to his teen years, is suspected of having snatched the three-year-old Madeleine McCann from the girl’s family’s hotel room in Praia da Luz, Portugal, in May 2007.

The latest report of Brueckner’s bad behavior, also in Portugal, comes from a former friend, who’s recently contacted police. The prime suspect was already known to British and Portuguese police in relation to Madeleine’s disappearance in Praia da Luz. Yet, the recent information came from a witness who stepped forward following the appeal by the Met Police on the tenth anniversary in 2017.

The friend who knew of the vile incident with the teen girls finally decided to go public after seeing this past week’s massive police search at a site in Hanover, Lower Saxony, Germany, for clues connecting the prime suspect in the Madeleine McCann case to her disappearance and presumed death, the Mirror reports.

Brueckner’s friend says that the pervert — who’d one day become the prime suspect in the Madeleine McCann case — reported stripping naked outside the teen girls’ room first and then creeping inside where he would begin masturbating. But one of the girls awoke, and began alerting the others. And so Brueckner fled, and in the eventual retelling found the decidedly creepy story terribly amusing. Then the friend recalled what the prime suspect in the Madeleine McCann case told him about the incident with the teen girls, which occurred at an uncertain date: “The strangest thing he ever told me was about breaking into a room where four teenagers from Britain were sleeping on the sofa and floor. He was naked and had left his clothes outside and he was masturbating. When one woke up and tried to wake the others up he panicked and ran out. He said he ran naked through the town. He told it like a funny story.”

The Sydney Morning Herald reports that Brueckner’s brash and uncompromising attorney, Friedrich Fulscher, has insisted that his client will never cooperate with the investigators seeking to indict him in the Madeleine McCann case.

“Before our client starts to cooperate with the prosecutor’s office, you could order holy water as a long drink in hell,” Fulscher said of Brueckner, who is in prison in his native Germany on a drug conviction. In about six months, he is set to start a seven-year sentence for raping a 72-year-old American woman in Portugal in 2005.

“That is not unusual. It is very normal not to talk to the police when you are suspected of committing a crime,” the lawyer said in the wake of the news about the prime suspect in the Madeleine McCann case’s dirty dealings at the bedside of the teenage girls.

“The prosecutor’s office has to prove that a suspect has committed a crime, and not the suspect prove that he hasn’t.”

Sky News reports on the first-ever video footage to emerge of Brueckner, taken by a group of hitchhikers who were on a mission to travel across Spain with the help of others as a part of a challenge sponsored by a radio station. They spent a few hours with the serial sex offender only weeks before Madeleine disappeared.
