Bombers of Abuja-Kaduna train are criminals, saboteurs, APC says

The All Progressives Congress Thursday reacted to the bandit bombing of Kaduna-Abuja train, saying the perpetrators are criminals working to frustrate the good intentions of President Muhammadu Buhari.
“Nigerians by now have realised that the APC led-government of President Muhammadu Buhari means well for Nigerians and is doing everything possible to deliver infrastructure to Nigerians amidst difficult economic times, globally,” John Akpanudoedehe, national secretary of the APC caretaker committee, said in a statement on Thursday.
Mr Akpanudoedehe condemned “criminals, depriving Nigerians the services” provided by the Abuja-Kaduna train service, describing it as “despicable.”
“We must stay united so we can defeat the agents of destruction who have vowed to set Nigeria backwards,” he added.
Armed bandits on Wednesday bombed a train travelling between Abuja and Kaduna, inflicting severe damages on the country’s major rail infrastructure.
This comes a few days after Mr Buhari claimed that insecurity in the country was declining, while blaming Nigerian media for inaccurately reporting insecurity as increasing.
